HELP22 VETERANS CHARITY ADOPTS A PLATOON

HELP22 is a nonprofit organization with a powerful mission: to restore the value of life for veterans and military service members through coaching, counseling, and mentoring. The organization’s ultimate goal is to prevent suicide, a devastating reality among veterans whose suicide rate is 57% higher than the national average. HELP22 directly challenges veterans with a rallying cry: "Re-enlist in life, one day at a time."

This challenge taps into the military’s core ethos of mission-driven action, urging veterans to summon their inner strength—not just for themselves but for their families, friends, and the nation that still needs their unique contributions. Facing the weight of dark thoughts, it can seem impossible to imagine enduring weeks, months, or years of despair. HELP22 shifts the focus to a simpler question: Can I make it through today? One day at a time, courage and commitment grow, fueling the fight for life. Never surrender.

As part of its ongoing mission to support the military community, HELP22 has adopted the 1st Battalion, 87th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, based at Fort Drum, NY. This initiative ensures that these brave soldiers feel appreciated and supported. Monthly care packages filled with essentials and reminders of home to uplift spirits and boost morale. These tokens remind service members that their sacrifices are not forgotten and that their service is deeply valued.
